ABOUT THE CHEETAH CONSERVATION FUND
Founded in 1990 by Dr Laurie Marker, the Cheetah Conservation fund plays an essential role in Cheetah conservation worldwide. Based in Namibia, the CCF is responsible for gargantuan undertakings such as reducing habitat displacement, intercepting cheetah traffickers and establishing livestock protections to prevent hostile cheetah-human interactions.
International Cheetah Day is held around the world on December 4th, it's a day to celebrate the Cheetah and join forces in preserving their populations through education, research and support!

About Us!
Sofia is a South American veterinarian doctor and artist. A lover of all things wildlife and conservation, she has often offered her artistic and professional skills to support charities and other projects. Having supported the Cheetah Conservation Fund on Cheetah Day 2017 it was only natural for her to organize an event once again in 2020 to celebrate the CCF's 30th Anniversary and support Africa's most endangered big cat!

Shetani is a fursuiter, cosplayer, hobbyist, and all-around nerd from the East Coast, USA. This lifelong cheetah aficionado has supported the Cheetah Conservation Fund since childhood, and her affinity for the species runs so deep, she even chose the cheetah to represent herself! Shetani is passionate about promoting wildlife education, and encourages members of the furry community to learn more about the real-life animals we love and what we can do to help protect them. She is so thrilled to be able to lend a paw in helping the CCF continue their invaluable conservation efforts through this fundraiser!
